Mattapan, Mass.

Mattapan first became part of Boston in 1870 and is most known for the Green Line Street Trolley.  This  route is one of only two streamlined trolleys still in operation.  Mattapan is composed of a mix of single family homes and two and three family homes.  Mattapan is also the home of  Town Computer, rated among the top 15 computer sales and service companies in Massachusetts.

Roxbury, Mass.

Roxbury is a neighborhood in Boston that is just a skip away from downtown.  Roxbury is composed of small ethnic shops and many styles of housing.  During the 1940s and 1950s, Roxbury became the center of the African-American community in Boston.  Now, grassroots organizations are carrying out revitalization and restoration projects.
